Meath women fourth in National Athletics League.

The top clubs and counties in Ireland were out in strength today for the final of the Woodie’s DIY National League final at the Tullamore Harriers Stadium. The new National League champions are Dundrum South Dublin in the Premier Women; Wexford in the Women’s Division 1; Crusaders in Premier Men and Kildare County in Division 1 Men.

The Meath womens team which has a very strong emphasis on youth did very well throughout the league and brought this form into the final. There were notable performances from a number of young athletes who were competing in their first year at senior level. They can be pleased with their achievement in finishing fourth just half a point behind Sligo.The results of the Meath athletes were as follows;
