National Inter Club Cross Country Saturday 26th February At the Inter Club Cross Country at Santry, Luke Forde continued to progress and produced his best run of the cross country season in a hotly contested Junior race. After the first lap Luke lay just outside the top ten. Over the following laps he moved steadily through the field and moved into the top ten as he approached the last lap. He ran a very strong last lap and put in a fast finish to come home in an excellent 10th place
At the Meath juvenile cross country relays held at Bohermeen on 6th March, Dunboyne was the only club to field a team in all eight races thanks to the organizational skills of Teresa Smith. Of those teams, both the Boys and Girls U16 teams won gold while the girls U10, boys u10, girls U12, girls U14 and boys U14 all won bronze medals in very competitive races. Congratulation to all who particpated.
