James McCabe at the World Juniors

James Mc Cabe Dunboyne Athletic Club's first ever athlete in the World Junior Champs in Barcelona threw a PB 69.49m in the Hammer 6kg competition today. James finished 18th out of 47 competitors. Going in he was ranked 37th. Only 6 other athletes threw a PB in the competition. James finished ahead of fellow Irish man Dempsey Mc Guigan ( 20th) and the two Brits Miller 25th and Painter 27th all of whom have better PBs! Many thanks to Brendan, Ronnie, Tony and all the Meath competition officials who helped James over the years in County, Leinster and National Champs.
